Meet Mohiemen Anwar - ENT Surgeon

Hello - my name is Mo Anwar, a consultant E-N-T surgeon, based in London. With over 23 years of experience, I am a specialist in ear, nose and throat related conditions - my special interest is in the disorders of the nose and paediatric E-N-T. You'll find me working across West London, including the Cromwell Hospital. The London Medical on Harley Street, the Syon Clinic in Brentford, and Chiswick Medical Centre. also, my NHS work is BASED at West Middlesex Hospital - which is part of Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust. I trained in some of the leading medical centres across London, and the UK. Including Great Ormond Street, Imperial College and the Royal Marsden Alongside my surgical work - I completed a PhD in gene therapy, immunotherapy, and-molecular biology at Queen Mary's University in 2015. My key areas of expertise include - nasal surgery; rhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus surgery. Also, I regularly support patients with sinus issues - nasal obstruction and snoring. I have a wide interest in paediatric ENT. I see many children with hearing loss, tonsillitis, or nasal blockage. Whether it’s ear infections, or sleep-disordered breathing, I aim to provide a reassuring and thorough approach to every case. Patients often describe me as approachable; warm; and attentive. I treat each person the way I would want to be treated - clearly, kindly, and with compassion - to me, good medicine starts with good communication. I regularly host international surgeons to share skills in advanced nasal surgery. I also volunteer in global health projects, most recently delivering hearing aids to children in refugee camps. I'm also a father, and a tennis fan, and I bring the same energy and commitment to my practice as I do to family life.
